NATURAL GOUT REMEDIES VIDEO – Stop gout pain and symptoms now! All natural remedy and treatment.

Cherries are rich in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Both sweet and tart cherries have been studied for their many health benefits.

Tart cherries, specifically, carry more beneficial compounds for the management and prevention of gout due to their phenolic antioxidant compounds. Research has shown that supplementing with tart cherry juice may help reduce the risk of gout attacks.

However, more research is needed to determine the effectiveness of this remedy. If you would like to try adding tart-cherry juice to your nutrition plan, aim for two 8-ounce glasses of tart cherry juice daily.

Ease Gout Symptoms With These Alternative Treatment Options

Gout is a form of arthritis that results in sudden pain, swelling and tenderness in the joints. The big toe joint is most commonly affected, but gout pain can also occur in the knee and ankle joints.

Gout can strike when there is a high level of uric acid in the blood, which can be caused by a diet rich in red meat and alcohol consumption. Other factors contributing to gout include being overweight and chronic health issues such as diabetes and heart or kidney disease.

While there is no cure for gout, certain lifestyle changes can help prevent future flare-ups, including staying hydrated, avoiding alcohol, eating less meat and maintaining a healthy weight.

In addition to these lifestyle changes, there are several natural remedies that could help relieve gout pain.

Pain Relief Without Medicine

Use cold. If your pain isn’t too bad, try cold packs or compresses on the joint to lower inflammation and soothe the ache. Wrap ice in a thin towel and apply it to the joint for up to 20 minutes several times a day. Do not apply ice to your hands or feet if you have nerve problems from diabetes or other causes.

Rest the joint. It’s a good idea to rest it until the pain eases up. You probably won’t want to move it much anyway. If you can, raise the joint on a pillow or other soft object.

Drink water. When your body doesnât have enough water, your uric acid levels rise even higher. Stay hydrated to help keep those levels normal.

Watch what you eat and drink. Foods that are high in substances called purines, such as some seafood, organ meats like liver, and fatty foods, can raise the uric acid in your blood even more. So can fructose-sweetened drinks and alcohol — especially beer.

Fish Oil Supplements For Gout

Fish oil derived from fish contains omega-3 fatty acids. Your body has to rely on omega-3 fatty acids for proper functioning-

  • Alpha-linoleic acid
  • Docosahexaenoic acid
  • Eicosapentaenoic acid

The best fish oil has DHA and EPA. Fatty acids are essential to maintain the function of your brain and immune system.

Most importantly, there must be a proper ratio of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. Unsaturated fat has the potential to prevent inflammation problems in your body. However, do not take a high amount of fatty acids. Consumption of fish oil helps in fighting against inflammation. That is why you can decrease the swelling, pain, redness, and potential joint damage caused by gout.

The meat of the fish contains purines. However, the molecularly distilled fish oil does not have a high amount of purines. You can safely purchase pharmaceutical-grade fish oil supplements. Make sure that the supplement is molecularly distilled. But, it may not be safe for those having bleeding disorders.

I purchased this product because i had gout in my toe on and off for approximately four weeks. I took anti inflammatorys which gave me some pain relief, so i thought id try something different.I received the tablets when the inflammation was at its worst. I took the recommended dose not expecting instant results. I actually felt relief after about four hours, and almost full relief after a few hours after the second dose on the following day.I have continued with the medication daily which has, in my opinion, helped control the build up of crystals in my toe joint. I would recommend this product.

The American College of Rheumatology recommends a couple of lifestyle modifications for preventing future attacks of gout:

    1) Lose weight if you need to. Being overweight can increase uric acid levels as well as put pressure on the joints.

    2) Follow a low-purine diet. Another effective way to reduce uric acid levels is to follow a low-purine diet. Purines are organic compounds that break down into uric acid. Following a low-purine diet means avoiding the big four alcohol, shellfish, red meat, and high fructose corn syrup.

Limiting these foods is also beneficial for heart health and people with gout are at higher risk for heart disease.

But dont go overboard with dietary changes to relieve gout pain though, advises Dr. Fields. You can find lists of thousands of different foods youre not supposed to have if you have gout. Those recommendations are impossible to follow and can make you crazy.

Herbal Remedies & Treatments : Holistic Herbal Medicine for Gout

It’s always a good idea to let your doctor know that you are having a flare. Sometimes, you may need to follow up to make sure your treatment plan is working or if your symptoms don’t improve. Call your doctor if:

This is your first flare-up. There are several other conditions, such as a joint infection, that have some of the same symptoms as gout attacks.

You have a highfever and chills. Gout attack symptoms may include a mild fever, but a higher temperature may be a sign of an infection.

Your symptoms don’t get any better after 48 hours or don’t end after about a week. If you don’t start to feel somewhat better after a few days, call your doctor. They may suggest a different treatment. Most gout attacks will go away by themselves in several weeks, even without treatment.

How To Handle Your First Gout Attack

After a first attack of gout, its OK to try to stave off another one with dietary changes alone. But if you have another attack, its important to start taking preventive gout medications on a regular basis. Long-term medications for gout include allopurinol and febuxostat, both of which limit uric acid production.

Some patients, says Dr. Fields, treat each attack as a separate event and dont talk to their doctors about doing a preventive approach. He uses the analogy of lighting a book of matches. If you have one match lit, its easy to put out, but if you have the whole book lit, its a lot harder.

Wang et al. held that gout was caused by dampness accumulation and heat blocking the meridians and collaterals, so he adopted the methods of clearing heat and resolving dampness, unblocking the collaterals and relieving pain, and applied Zhuye Shigao Decoction for the treatment. Chen et al. found that after being treated with modified Zhuye Shigao Decoction, serum levels of IL-1 and caspase-1 were reduced, and the expression levels of pro-IL-1 and pro-caspase-1 were down-regulated, suggesting that the modified Zhuye Shigao Decoction could inhibit the inflammation induced by sodium urate crystals, which may be related to the intervention of IL-1 signaling pathway.
