Helps Slow Down The Development Of Chronic Kidney Disease:

Your kidneys are crucial because they help remove waste and excess water from your blood while also balancing important minerals like potassium, salt, and calcium.

Chronic kidney disease causes kidney function to deteriorate over time.

While additional study is needed, several studies suggest that supplementing with sodium bicarbonate may help improve renal function and slows the progression of CKD.

Gout might also be a symptom that you have kidney disease. When you have gout, your blood contains too much uric acid. If uric acid crystals grow in the kidneys, painful kidney stones can form, obstructing the kidneys ability to remove waste and perhaps leading to infection.

Because of their sharp edges, kidney stones formed by uric acid crystals may scar the kidneys. Chronic kidney disease and potentially, kidney failure can result from these issues.

Fast Gout Relief At Home

ByJohn Cielo | Submitted On May 15, 2010

If you’re looking for a natural way to get fast gout relief at home then you’re in luck. Here, you’ll discover how baking soda can relieve gout in as little as 2 hours.

Your gout is caused by uric acid crystals that have been deposited in your joint because you have high uric acid in your bloodstream. So, during an attack, you need to get rid of the crystals and expel the excess uric acid from your body.

One of the fastest ways to do this, and relieve your gout symptoms, is through the use of baking soda, which you probably already have in a cupboard at home.

Baking soda has been shown to dissolve uric acid crystals, increase uric acid solubility to make it easier to expel from your body, and increase body fluid volume to help your kidneys excrete uric acid.

Here’s how you should take it to relieve your gout symptoms…

Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to 8oz of water in a large glass and mix thoroughly. Drink a glass on getting up in the morning. Drink a glass every two to four hours between meals during the day. Drink a glass last thing at night just before bedtime. Never take more than 4 teaspoons of baking soda a day. Continue until your gout symptoms have disappeared.

But there are a few important things to bear in mind…

Since baking soda is very high in sodium, you need to cut salt out of your diet whilst you are taking the remedy. At the very least, change to a low-salt diet and don’t add salt to any cooking or dish.

Gout and Baking Soda

A man consulted. His father has been suffering from gout for several years. After taking baking soda recently, his uric acid level is still more than 600, and his blood pressure is still rising. He asked if he needs to replace the baking soda with other medicines.

I believe that many people think the same way, thinking that baking soda can treat gout, because baking soda can be applied to all stages of the treatment of gout.

In fact, this is a misunderstanding. Let’s first popularize baking soda. Baking soda is another name for sodium bicarbonate, which is an alkaline substance. Medical baking soda , usually orally or intravenously , is used to neutralize stomach acid, alkalinize urine or correct body acidosis . It can also be topical for disinfection .

Gout patients taking baking soda only alkalizes the urine and neutralizes the uric acid in the urine, so that the uric acid in the urine is not easy to form stones, so that it is easy to dissolve and excrete , and it does not affect the production and metabolism of uric acid itself. Baking soda is only an auxiliary drug in the treatment of gout. The key to the treatment of gout is to go to a regular hospital and use special gout drugs for treatment.

Moreover, baking soda, as an auxiliary medicine for the treatment of gout, has significant side effects and should not be taken for a long time .

Since baking soda cannot be used as a common medicine to treat gout, how should it be treated? Let’s interpret gout first.
