      Having bloods done tomorrow, docs give me naproxen, it hasn’t given me any relief yet, but I am only on my second tablet!!

      Naproxen is Ibufren’s big mate I believe. I think you need the naproxen but also colchesine which will slow the attack of the immune system, on your joints. . I find colchesine works in hours.

    Naproxen doesn’t work very fast. They say that coffee helps with gout, because it lowers the uric acid in the blood, therefore, tea might be good. Cherry juice would help more. Are you taking anything for it?

    Re coffee: I read the research paper on coffee. They found that high coffee drinkers did have reduced levels of gout. But they specifically said that the evidence doesn’t support drinking coffee if you already have gout. I read it over a year ago but that’s my memory.
